Overview Gilbane Development Company is looking for a Lead Housekeeper to join our growing team in Bowling Green, KY! The Lead Housekeeper is responsible for supervising the cleaning of the business office, residential units, public and common areas of the property in a neat, clean, and attractive condition. In this position you will be supervising a team of Housekeepers. Duties include training new employees, delegating work, and scheduling. Typical schedule is Monday-Friday but will include some weekend overtime and in emergency situations. Responsibilities: - Supervise and develop the housekeeping staff. - Purchase and maintain the inventory needed on-site to perform daily maintenance duties. - Maintain a monthly housekeeping budget. - Compile a variety of reports relating to the housekeeping operations of the property. - Respond to emergency housekeeping calls. - Supervise and coordinate work shifts for the housekeeping staff, as applicable. - Evaluate the performance of the housekeeping staff, as applicable. - Assist in the hiring and training of the necessary personnel for the Housekeeping Departments.
