Senior Accountant

Job description

Position Summary: The Senior Accountant role is primarily responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness and timeliness reporting of Company’s financial statements with a focus on revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606. The position works very closely with Billing, Project Manager, Procurement, FPA and other teams throughout the organization. Responsibilities: Responsible for performing monthly general ledger closing procedures including preparation of journal entries, account analysis, balance sheet reconciliations and subledger reconciliation activities. Prepare and document revenue recognition memos for complex contracts Analyze revenue fluctuations and provide variance explanations Analyze accrual transactions for completeness and accuracy in accordance with Company policy. Collaborate with Project Managers, IT, and other teams to identify, research, and resolve various accounting issues, including but not limited to revenue, billing, accruals etc. Support tax compliance matters, includes but not limited to property, international/ income tax filings, RD credits, etc. Participate in the design, development, and implementation of process improvements and internal co...
