Job Posting: JR101672 Adjunct Faculty - History (Open) Department: History & Government, JM Position Type: Temporary (Fixed Term) Open Date: 03-03-2026 Close Date: $3,500 per 3-credit course, subject to change Job Description: Bowie State University is accepting applications to establish a pool of applicants for future openings African American History. Responsibilities: - Teaches undergraduate level courses in African American History. - Meet assigned classes in accordance with the established schedule. - Complete all duties related to instruction including presenting lectures, assigning coursework, and grading. - This is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and/or skills required for this position. - The university reserves the right to amend and change responsibilities to meet organizational needs. Minimum Qualifications: - Ph.D. Degree in History. - Teaching experience at the college level in area of concentration or significant professional experience relevant to the teaching area.
