Our office, Valley Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery-Sacramento, in Sacramento, CA is seeking a talented full- time surgical assistant to our Oral Surgeon to join our busy specialty practice. We are looking for a talented and skilled Surgical Assistant to help us accomplish our mission to improve the lives of our patients by providing a world-class specialty experience for every patient. Your Responsibilities: As one of the essential members of our office, you will also help to facilitate/coordinate other office responsibilities as needed. - Prepare the surgical area, instruments, and equipment before each procedure. - Assist the surgeon during procedures by anticipating the surgeon's needs and assisting as required. - Keep surgical areas and instruments clean and sterilized. - Monitor and record patient vitals and ensure patient comfort and safety. - Prepare and provide post-operative instructions and materials to patients. - Perform other duties as assigned by the surgeon or office manager.
