Job description

The Clinical Research Assistant supports the Research Department in managing clinical trial patients by assisting with patient identification, screening, registration, and clinical trial data collection. The Clinical Research Assistant also supports the department by facilitating in-take, enrollment, and management of patients enrolled in trials. Additional essential functions include assisting with lab draws, shipping specimens, and maintaining active patient screening logs. Required Qualifications: One (1) year Experience as a Medical Assistant or Laboratory Assistant performing phlebotomy and CLIA waived testing in a clinical setting. - Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification Preferred Qualifications: - Coursework/Training: Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy training program/course approved by Washington State. - Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited school for medical assistants, or an equivalent combination of coursework and experience/training sufficient to qualify to sit for the Washington State Certification exam. - Clinical research experience in oncology.
