Job Description Summary Full Time opportunity for an Ultrasound Tech looking to work with an amazing team! Hours are: Days/Monday - Friday with Friday being 1/2 day! Entity: Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) Worker Type: Employee Worker Sub-Type: Regular Cost Center: CC001307 FLO - Ultrasound (FMC) Pay Rate Type: Hourly Pay Grade: Health-28 Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Work Shift: Job Description: Operates ultrasonic equipment to produce images of the body's organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes. Performs sonographic examinations to locate, evaluate and record critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data. Records test results, inspects and maintains equipment, and orders supplies when needed. Reviews physician requisition orders and instructions concerning patient preparation for ultrasound procedure. May communicates to OB/GYN nursing team status of patient condition pre and post procedure. Performs ultrasound imaging for fetal diagnosis and anomaly detection for patients with high-risk indications.
