Description The University of Chicago's Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience is searching for a full-time faculty member at any rank. The appointee will provide assessment, diagnostic, and consulting neuropsychological services to children, adolescents, and emerging adults presenting with medical illnesses (e.g., cancers, brain tumors, epilepsies, diabetes), neurodevelopmental and neurogenetic disorders (e.g., intellectual disability syndromes, ASD, NF-1), and comorbid psychiatric conditions in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications. The Neuropsychology Program at the University of Chicago is both regionally and nationally recognized for its training, research, and clinical care. The Section of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is highly interdisciplinary in its care, and neuropsychology faculty actively contribute to and collaborate with the Consultation/Liaison, Neurodevelopmental, Trauma, and Psychotherapy programs within the section.
