Job description

Essential Functions: - Responsible for coordinating with personnel, delegating tasks, evaluating performances, and training new members of the workforce. Communicates special instructions for jobs to other team members. - Proactively seeks out defective materials. - Primarily responsible for overseeing all processing operations and workforce performance, ensuring efficiency and timeliness in their department. Verifies the quality of completed jobs is consistent with COS QC standards. - Performs all necessary quality control (QC) inspections on each job based on the guidelines communicated and posted in the department. - Demonstrates a strong proficiency and thorough understanding of all machines in all areas within the department. - Possesses a keen understanding of the equipment and software. Maximizes equipment capabilities. - Troubleshoots detailed machine aspects below the surface of basic equipment operation. - Involved in new product development and tests machine capabilities. - Works cooperatively with other departments to help achieve manufacturing goals. - Other duties as assigned by management.
