MH: Respiratory Therapy- (Full Time, Days) - Job Summary: The Educator-Respiratory Care reports to the Respiratory Manager. This position plans, develops, implements, and evaluates educational activities for Respiratory Care and provides opportunities to enrich skills and enhance effectiveness. Provides leadership in the educational process and transformation of care to evidenced based practice at the bedside with emphasis on safety initiatives, quality care, and best practices supported by innovative technology. Collaborates with other members of the management team to identify and address the learning needs of staff in a cost-effective manner. Provides hands-on management that engages staff in adopting a model of accountability, empowerment, and excellence in practice. Maintains in-depth clinical knowledge in respiratory care and demonstrates clinical expertise in bedside practice. Serves as a clinical resource and coach for staff and influences the workforce to achieve high level of performance reflecting the vision and values of the organization.
