Job description

Responsibilities: - Meet production requirements consistent with the business plan, engineering requirements and quality standards. - Manufacturing Engineering efforts on new and existing product lines. - Training and development needs for the workforce. - Lean initiatives - Support to all areas of the organization (Design, Manufacturing, Materials, Planning, Quality) in production of company products. - Process audits, risk assessments, PFMEA’s, process documentation. - Participate in manufacturability reviews in support of new product development. Participate in design reviews internally and externally with customers. Qualifications: - BS in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering. - 10 - 15 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. - Experience in an aviation or aerospace environment is a plus. Experience within other high precision, highly regulated industries is a must. - Emphasis in experience has to be in a hand assembly operation of hardware, components, mechanisms and finished products rather than an operation dominated by a process operation. - Experience with tool, fixture and manufacturing process development and the application of GD&T. - Knowledge o...
