Working Location: Uxbridge, London Type of Employment: Full-time: Office-based role in BYD's new state-of-the-art and modern offices in Uxbridge Middlesex West of London (please ensure your daily commute is manageable before applying). Role Summary: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our UK finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will take ownership of key accounting, reporting and tax processes for BYD UK, ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust reconciliations and timely compliance with UK statutory requirements. The successful candidate will play a critical role in month-end close, VAT and PAYE compliance, audit coordination and strengthening internal controls, while working closely with Group / HQ finance teams and external advisors. Key Responsibilities: Lead month-end close activities within assigned areas, ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial data.
