JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Window & Door Service Technician to join our growing team. External Job Description: Field Service Technician II- Washington D.C Metro area As a Field Service Technician II, you will ensure our products meet high standards of quality and performance. Join our team to maintain and service VPI QUALITY WINDOWS products. This remote position requires weekly travel, including overnight stays and overtime. Responsibilities include performing service work, diagnosing issues, and providing detailed reports. Key Responsibilities: - Perform warranty field service tasks, including inspections and repairs of window and door products. - Document service activities and maintain accurate records. - Prepare detailed service reports with photos and descriptions. - Maintain tools and service vehicle. - Operate company vehicle safely. - Attend and document water tests, diagnose issues, and perform repairs. - Follow safety rules and participate in the Accident Prevention Program. - Manage schedule for timely arrival and task preparedness. - Maintain professional interaction with customers and team members. - Travel by plane, car, or other means as necessary. - Communica...
