Valiant is looking for a Disaster Management and Humanitarian Assistance (DMHA) Research Analyst to join our team! This position will focus on research development and writing products that address disaster management and humanitarian assistance. The position is within the CFE-DM’s Applied Research and Information Sharing (ARIS) Branch. The position performs duties associated with coordinating, implementing, and balancing multiple research studies and products. The candidate will work closely with the ARIS team to produce written products that offer readers an operational understanding of disaster management capabilities and vulnerabilities globally but with a focus on the Indo-Pacific region. The objective is to deliver a comprehensive disaster management knowledge base that provides best practices and lessons learned for advancement in coordination in Disaster Response and Humanitarian Assistance (DMHA). This position will also produce statistical research reports and studies utilizing DMHA data.
