Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:30pm Pay Range: $30.50-$48.72 Depending on years of experience JOB PURPOSE:The Registered Mammography Technologist performs digital mammograms that are of high quality. Registered Mammography Technologist performs digital mammograms in compliance with manufacturer’s guidelines using the standard views as set forth by Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and by Federal and State Regulations. The primary goal of the Registered Mammography Technologist at El Rio Health is to support El Rio’s Mission of providing comprehensive, quality health care that is affordable and accessible to all who may have healthcare needs, by successfully performing the primary essential functions. Essential Job Functions: - Operates specialized X-ray equipment and performs various mammography related procedures including screenings and diagnostic studies. - Performs Digital Mammograms of high diagnostic quality. - Performs QA checks as recommended by the MQSA and manufacturer recommendations. - Performs Mammographic exams as per specified department protocols. - Enters radiologist findings into the mammography tracking system(s). - Provide a work environment safe and...
