Duties include preparing daily and monthly journal entries to ensure accurate financial statement presentation; overseeing the accounts payable function and supervising a team of clerks to ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports; tracking and reporting quarterly sales and use tax returns; managing vendor relationships and resolving payment related issues; working with Business Services staff to ensure all cash activities are recorded accurately and consistently with revenue and expense recognition policies; analyzing accounts payable reports such as aging schedules, cash flow projections, and vendor performance metrics; managing daily treasury operations, including cash flow, bank relations, and cash position reporting; developing and implementing solutions to complex accounting issues; preparing monthly...
