Registered Nurse, ECT/Inpatient Psychiatry, 32 Hours Rotating About the Inpatient Psychiatric Unit (Deaconess 4) Our 25-bed Inpatient Psychiatric Unit at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center provides compassionate, patient-centered care for adults experiencing acute mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, psychosis, or crisis situations. Our dedicated team works in a supportive, collaborative environment focused on helping patients stabilize, heal, and prepare for a safe transition back to their communities. As part of a renowned academic medical center and the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, our unit combines evidence-based treatment with a deeply empathetic approach. Nurses on Deaconess 4 are valued members of an interdisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, social workers, and therapists who work together to develop individualized care plans that meet each patient’s unique needs.
