Engineering Configuration and Compliance Manager

Job description

General Purpose The Engineering Configuration & Compliance Manager is responsible for leading configuration management, engineering document control, and product compliance activities across the organization. This role ensures engineering data integrity, regulatory adherence, and audit readiness throughout the product lifecycle while supporting a multidisciplinary engineering design team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Lead engineering configuration management processes, including change control, BOM governance, and revision management - Establish and maintain standards, workflows, and best practices for engineering document control using PLM/PDM systems - Ensure accuracy, traceability, and audit readiness of all engineering data and records - Oversee product regulatory compliance for mechanical and electrically actuated systems, including applicable machinery directives and electrical safety standards - Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and purchasing to ensure configuration alignment from development through production - Serve as the primary engineering interface for audits, regulatory bodies, and customer compliance inquiries - D...
