ABOUT THE POSITION: The purpose of this position would be to introduce the Intern to doughnut manufacturing operations and support while assisting and supporting the Manufacturing Operations team, in particular the Manufacturing Project Manager. Focus will be given to assisting with production center openings, with attention to data collection and analysis of new equipment, processing methods, and products. RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead analysis of new Production Centers in terms of equipment efficiency, labor planning, production, with the goal to create realistic production models and reports on new equipment efficiency. Management of the equipment approval tracker tool and provide regular updates to team. Management of the relationship with NDCP and Cross Functional Teams to push forward various Manufacturing related priorities related to ingredients and equipment. Participate in CML equipment and ingredient validations. Participate in CML Development Projects when applicable. Participate in food safety and other field related projects.
