The Medical Laboratory Scientist Apprentice completes educational assignments independently according to established schedule. Testing scores to maintain an 80% or better. Performs waived, moderate and highly complex laboratory tests according to policy and procedure under the supervision of an assigned mentor. Learns problem-solving skills with a willingness to troubleshoot quality control and instrumentation issues. Performs special assignments as delegated to enhance experience and skills of a medical laboratory scientist. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.
