GENERAL SUMMARY: Ensures the correct identification of the patient and works independently to prioritize orders according to established standards. Performs standard 12-lead electrocardiograms according to department protocol and independently augments leads as appropriate to ensure accurate diagnostic results. Performs a variety of operational duties relative to completion of timely services including appropriate charging, charting results and data management.
