Building Automation Technician/BAS

Job description

As the Facilities BMS technician , you will be responsible for daily support activities, including: - Assisting site Leadership in the execution of all daily operations for the facilities team. - Monitoring and adjusting the building HVAC and mechanical systems, acknowledging critical building alarms, and taking appropriate corrective actions and responding after hours should repairs be needed. - Providing a level of expertise in performing preventive and corrective maintenance to a wide variety of industrial or commercial facility HVAC equipment. - Identifying and correcting any safety-related issues and performing independent equipment evaluations to identify potential equipment failures. - Operating, maintaining, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing ventilation equipment, pumps, fans, chillers, rooftop AHU’s, split systems, compressors, refrigeration, and other mechanical equipment as needed. - Utilizing the building automation system to track building conditions and the operation of facilities equipment. - Utilizing strong mechanical and electrical skills to complete assignments. - Performing preventive maintenance on HVAC control and operating systems as scheduled from a...
