Job Description Supervises and coordinates the imaging operations and technologists and their daily activities, of one modality. Ensures assignments are completed and maintains quality patient care. Job Responsibility: - Promotes Imaging Services department goals by selecting, motivating, and training capable team members. - Leads the activities of assigned Imaging Services team members by communicating and providing guidance toward achieving department objectives. - Supervises, hires, trains, disciplines, and evaluates the performance of staff; ensures performance appraisals are completed in a timely manner. - Prioritizes, schedules, assigns and monitors work to optimize operational performance; ensures adequate inventory of supplies. - Organizes and guides staff towards service line/department goals. - Analyzes, recommends, implements and monitors approved work-flow changes. - Maintains staff credentials and continuing education credits. - Follows guidelines set forth by ACR and DOH.
