TRACK LABORER

Job description

The Track Laborer is responsible for maintenance and repairs of the racetrack surfaces and physical structures in the organization. All other duties as assigned by management. - Repair pylons and fence as needed - Remove and place rail as required - Minor carpentry work - Minor welding repairs - Assist Landscaping staff when required - Assist with operations of the equipment/ machinery as needed - Must have an outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic attitude. - Must be comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with our guests. - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
