Duties: This job description is based on the Administrative Assistant Series. May be required to perform any and all duties and responsibilities of an Administrative Assistant I, as set forth in the BPHC Administrative Assistant Series. - Performs billing duties for all billable School-Based Health Center providers, including medical and mental health Includes verifying and updating patient health insurance information, processing referrals, entering billing data, and following up on billing requests as assigned. - Registers School-Based Health Center patients, makes appointments, and processes referrals, using electronic - Facilitates electronic medical record registration of patients at Boston Medical - Verifies and updates health insurance information and - Reviews patient consent forms, making sure information is complete, and performs outreach to complete missing - Inputs data from forms received from providers into electronic databases as - Performs general office and clerical duties, including word processing, filing, copying, faxing, answering phones, taking messages, and ordering office supplies. - Takes minutes and attendance at site meetings and shares with staff and Sch...
