Associate Manager, Indirect Commodity

Overview The Associate Manager, Indirect Commodity plays a key role in shaping how Shure sources the goods and services that keep our business moving. In this role, you’ll own indirect commodity categories from strategy through execution, partnering closely with cross‑functional teams to bring smart, aligned sourcing strategies to life. If you enjoy building supplier relationships, driving value, and balancing operational, technical, and financial priorities, this role puts you right at the center of it all. This role is hybrid or remote based out of our Niles, IL location. Responsibilities: - Leads commodity strategy development, including establishing approved supplier lists, maintaining capability matrices, and adapting sourcing strategies based on business, market, and economic conditions. - Leads and co‑leads supplier negotiations, including pricing discussions, terms and conditions, speculative buys, and cost‑avoidance initiatives. - Manages supplier relationships through business reviews, performance monitoring (quality, delivery, contract compliance), technology roadmap alignment, and coordination of supplier presentations. - Conducts comprehensive market, spend, and catego...
