Department/Unit: Facilities Mgmt Adm Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Salary Range: $54,690.00 - $82,035.00 Salary Range: $21.78 - $34.85: Performs activities related to the operation, maintenance and repair of boilers and auxiliary plant equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Performs activities related to the operation, maintenance and repair of boilers and auxiliary plant equipment. - Performs and assumes all responsibilities as the Stationary Engineer including, but not limited to, the following: - Operates high-pressure boilers, auxiliary equipment, and controls in an efficient and safe manner. Continuously exercises plant safety in all areas of the power plant. - Observes flow meters, gauges, dials and recorders. Starts, stops, adjusts, and regulates the equipment in response to observations and accepted engineering practice. - Periodically records readings and abnormal occurrences in the engineering logbook. - Checks equipment while in operation and makes adjustments and repairs as necessary to maintain plant operations. - Performs chemical test on water samples during shift and records results in order to maintain proper boiler water chemistry. - Resp...
