Job description
Benefits: Position Overview Stewards work to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, tableware, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils through manual and machine cleaning methods. The Steward reports to the General Manager, Bar Manager, Lead Line Cook and are expected to work in tandem with FOH and BOH Staff. Core Duties & Responsibilities: ● Safely operate all kitchen equipment● Maintain inventory of all plate ware, event materials, and kitchen small wares● Assist in prep projects as directed by Lead Line Cook and Bar Manager● Disposes of all trash as needed throughout shift● Assist in receiving and rotation of all foodstuffs● Responsible for washing dishes, chinaware, flatware, kitchen machinery and detailing equipment● Oversee upkeep of all areas including dry goods, walk-ins, bathroom, storage/ locker room, and dish pit● Complete opening and closing side work checklists for daily shifts● Catch up on all internal communication via Slack before your shift● Approach each shift with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and ready to contribute to the team’s overall goals● Always check in with any staff working in your respective space on arrival, see if you can help wit...
