Controller (Confidential Search) Philadelphia, PA | Hybrid Overview: Riderflex is partnering with a mission-driven nonprofit organization to identify a Controller who will play a key leadership role within the finance and accounting function. This is a confidential search. This individual will report directly to the CFO and will be responsible for overseeing accounting operations, strengthening internal processes, and providing leadership and development to an established and collaborative finance team. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and financial reporting - Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with accuracy and timeliness - Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards, grant requirements, and regulatory guidelines - Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts in partnership with leadership - Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 5–6 accounting professionals - Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting processes and workflows - Provide leadership in delegating responsibilities and building team accountability - Partner...
