Manager, Strategic Sourcing (Construction)

Job description

I. Job Summary The Strategic Sourcing Manager – Construction, will be responsible to partner cross-functionally across engineering, project management, finance, supply chain, internal leadership and our suppliers to integrate the strategic sourcing process into the project lifecycle for WM’s construction projects. The strategic sourcing process will be pointed at Goods and Services to support Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC model) requirements project-by-project. II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Oversees and participates in the procurement of materials, components, and services, ensuring price value and stability, consistent quality, and expeditious delivery. - Guides, assists, and negotiates to satisfactory conclusion important or major purchasing contracts. - Process mapping and end-to-end roles and responsibilities to support integration of the strategic sourcing process and deliverables within the EPC model.
