Job Summary This position is an entry-level position that assists operators engaged in processing materials. Duties and Responsibilities: - Assists operators at the coil loading and packaging ends of the line and as needed. - Build pallets and shipping containers using hand and power tools. - Band and palletize metal coils and/or metal sheets, placing tags/labels on finished products. - Perform quality checks to verify proper lengths, widths, and weights are adhered to using the proper tools. - Detects and reports faulty operations or defective materials. - Moves or carries parts, equipment, or materials. - Read and understand production orders. - Wraps and unwraps materials. - Housekeeping of work areas. - Operates a sit-down forklift. - Achieves production goals while complying with all safety requirements. - Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: - Must be 18 years or older. - Ability to safely operate a forklift.
