Employment Type: Part time Shift: 12 Hour Night Shift Description: Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Unit: Acute/Cardiac: Schedule/Shift: Part-Time / 24 hours weekly / Night Shift Location: Silver Spring, Maryland: We are offering a $6,500 New Hire Retention Bonus to external applicants who meet minimum requirements. Position Purpose: Reporting to the Director, the Registered Nurse (RN) must demonstrate the passion to provide bedside care to a diverse and acutely ill population of patients. The Registered Nurse should possess the knowledge and skill of how-to safety apply the nursing process to assess, plan and evaluate the care of patients with various health conditions. Unit Overview: This 30-bed unit provides care to patients with primary cardiac diagnoses, as well as to medical patients that require cardiac telemetry monitoring. 4 South Acute/Cardiac is staffed by registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, health unit coordinators, and monitor technicians. Staff receive support from clinical educators and advanced practice nurses.
