AD Investment Accounting Reporting: The Assistant Director (AD), Investment Accounting at Hartford Investment Management Company (HIMCO) will be responsible for overseeing the accurate and timely preparation and submission of financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and internal policies. This role requires a strong understanding of insurance accounting principles and excellent analytical skills. This role will have a Hybrid work arrangement, with the expectation of working in the Hartford, CT office 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday). Job Responsibilities: - Prepare and review of various financial reports, including statutory, GAAP, and management reports, for HIMCO. - Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, SSAP) and regulatory requirements (e.g., NAIC, SEC). - Support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end...
