Location: Medical Center - Fort Worth Department: Psychiatry Shift: Varying Shifts (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 32 Summary: Assumes the primary caretaker role for psychiatric patients ages Pre-K through adolescents which includes activities of daily living, maintaining a safe environment, and the management of harmful behaviors. The Program Specialist II also participates in crisis intervention, teaching, group process and on call as needed. Qualificatios: Bachelor's degree required preferably in psychology, child development, social work or related field Experience in inpatient or partial hospital psychiatric treatment preferred Pediatric experience preferred: Child growth and development education required CPR - BLS within 60 days of start date CPI Non-Violent Crisis Intervention - Units 1-7 & 9-10 plus the CPI Childrens Control Position from Unit 8 or must be completed within 60 days of start date Minimum requirements changed March 2022.
