POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Manager of Nursing Education, you will provide clinical and educational expertise with a patient-centered & evidence-informed focus to support nursing excellence corporately and within the Kidney Urinary Program. You will be responsible for assessing learning needs, and designing, delivering and evaluating educational programs. You will play an active role in nursing and departmental visioning, planning and development. You will collaborate with others to assist in corporate-wide educational initiatives as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: -Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario required -Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing required; Master’s Degree in Nursing or Education preferred -CNA Certification in a relevant nursing specialty area preferred -Membership in nursing professional association preferred -Demonstrated excellence in nursing practice in Hemodialysis, Peritoneal Dialysis, Renal Transplant, Renal Clinics, Independent therapies and in education -Demonstrated understanding of relevant health legislation and standards of practice including Kidney Transplantation and Trillium Gift of Life Network standards -Commitment to excellenc...
