Job description

The Vehicle Safety Program Performance Lead (PPL - Safety) is responsible for managing their assigned vehicle programs to ensure all identified safety functional objectives are achieved on time and within the financial target. They must also ensure the program financials, technical content and required resources are aligned with the program technical safety scope in order to achieve all approved regulatory & 3rd party safety ratings targets. Key Responsibilities: The 'PPL - Safety' must possess a strong technical acumen, exceptional communication/organizational skills and demonstrate the ability to lead cross-functional working teams through issue identification and resolution. - Establish, justify, and manage safety financial targets by leading collaboration activities with all associated vehicle safety teams to identify direct & indirect material costs including projected labor hours, vehicle quantities and test components are captured to align with the identified component, sled and vehicle tests - Manage all safety related development activities to ensure all functional objectives and safety related KPIs are being achieved at each program milestone throughout the development an...
