Job DetailsJob Location: Grand Pacific Marbrisa - Carlsbad, CA 92008Position Type: Part TimeSalary Range: $18.00 - $21.22 HourlyJob Shift: VariedPosition Summary/ Objective: Under the direction of the Activities Supervisor and/or Manager, the Lifeguard will be responsible for providing world class service to guests at the pool, by proactively promoting a safe and enjoyable experience that exceeds guests’ expectations. Associate will work independently or in a team under little to no supervision. This position relies on excellent judgment to perform the functions of the job. Primary Essential Functions: All associates are obligated to support and uphold the values, expectations, policies, and procedures of Grand Pacific Resorts as outlined in the Employee Handbook. Responsible for the safety of all guests in the pool area. Ensure that pool rules and regulations are adhered to and regulate guest conduct. Monitor the pool, hot tub, and slide areas and provide immediate and appropriate action to secure the safety of guests in the event of an emergency. Provide emergency care and treatment, as needed.
