Department: 10010 IRCAD - Administration Status: Part time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 20 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Weekend work included Pay Range: $22.90 - $34.35 methodologies. Directs all aspects of the biochemical laboratory environment. Assists in the analyses and preparation of data for publication and presentation, and provides support to primary investigators. Essential Functions: - Oversees and directs all aspects of chemical analyses required in the department, including basic science and clinical projects. - Performs measurements using radioisotopes. - Assists other laboratory staff with the completion of analytical procedures. - Teaches theoretical and practical aspects of chemical analyses to other staff members. - Oversees the laboratory environment, such as, safety procedures, record logs, ordering of supplies. - Teaches others how to use equipment, and schedules the use of the equipment to complete experiments. - Establishes and develops new methodologies for chemical analyses.
