Department Overview The Advanced Imaging Research Center (AIRC) at OHSU is a multidisciplinary research center focused on the development of magnetic resonance (MR)-based imaging techniques to advance basic and clinical research. This position is 100% on-site and no remote-work is possible. Function/Duties of Position: This position functions in the role of a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist in the Advanced Imaging Research Center (AIRC). The MRI Technologist preforms MRI examinations following protocols under the supervision of the department Director. The MRI Technologist promotes OHSU's mission statement by delivering high quality, efficient service to facilitate magnetic resonance research to OHSU and the community. This position helps to create a collaborative environment by integrating education, research, and clinical leadership. The MRI Technologist works with infants, pediatric, adult, and geriatric research subjects. - Operate Siemens MRI instruments for clinical research study scans. Ensure subject safety by reviewing MRI screening forms and discussing with study team and subjects before initiating scans. Administer MRI contrast agent per research protocol....
