HVAC Install Helper Department: HVAC: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: Albert Nahman Plumbing, Heating & Cooling - Hayward, CA Reporting To: HVAC Manager: Compensation: $25.00 - $28.00 / hour Description: As an HVAC Install Helper you will be required to assist experience HVAC technicians with installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This entry-level role involves a variety of tasks, including assembling materials, transporting tools, and ensuing work areas are clean and safe. Helpers also learn about HVAC systems, safety procedures, and industry standards while working under the guidance of more experienced technicians. Responsibilities: - Keep safety precautions always implemented. - Install HVAC systems and related equipment based on application & design, per manager - Wire both line and low voltage to heating and cooling equipment - Install copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including soldering and brazing - Properly connect gas lines to heating equipment - Install condensation lines to equipment - Receive, verify, and load all equipment and materials needed for each job - Be responsible for helper, includi...
