Job description
GENERAL SUMMARY: Perform special and routine chemistry tasks, such as chemical and radiochemical analyses, instrument calibrations, data review; attend training, and other tasks as assigned. Function as a plant Emergency Response Team Member (ERO qualified). Function as a Fire Brigade Member (Fire Brigade qualified). PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: - Work independently on tasks for which qualified, such as: - Routine sampling of plant systems to ensure compliance with chemistry control guidelines and proper chemical control. - Special sampling of plant systems to ensure compliance with chemistry control guidelines and proper chemical control. - Surveillance sampling of plant systems to ensure compliance with chemistry control guidelines and proper chemical control. - Perform data review and provide necessary corrective actions as needed. - Troubleshooting and calibrations on laboratory instrumentation. - System chemical additions. - Radiological surveys as permitted by the RWP. - Inventories of laboratory chemicals and equipment, and hazardous waste satellite areas. - Revisions of procedures, lesson plans, and OJT guides. - Initiate Condition Reports to document adverse issues, such as...
