Food Production Supervisor

Responsible for all operations at a central kitchen with food production and service to multiple centers, meeting Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and CYFS standards. Supports CAPSLO’s mission by ensuring that the food service operation runs smoothly and helps individuals and families in the community. What you bring to the table: - Two years of experience as a cook or comparable experience in food preparation and quantity cooking for large groups (150). Must be able to prepare meals using whole food ingredients (cooking from ‘scratch’). - One year experience supervising others and managing a large commercial food service operation. - Experience and knowledge in food preparation techniques for children (ages 1-6 years old). - Experience purchasing large quantities of food. - Experience working in preschool or school food service is preferred. - Fluency in two or more languages, including one that supports the needs of the program and community is preferred, but not required - Must hold and maintain current Food Safety and Sanitation Certificate. - Must provide certificate of completion of an approved first aid class to be evidenced within 90...
