VCA Milwaukee Emergency Center for Animals (MECA) in Greenfield, WI is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join the team! Schedule: Full time, day shift (6:00 am-6:00 pm). 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week ( 3 x 12 hour ). Alternating weekends and rotating holidays are required. Every day, you will have the opportunity to practice, enhance and improve you skills, including: Triage: Perform an initial assessment to evaluate the patient's condition quickly. This includes checking vital signs, assessing for obvious injuries or distress, and gathering information from the pet owner about the situation. Assist Doctors: Collaborate closely with veterinarians to assist in exams, treatments, and medical procedures for emergency cases.
