Title: Senior Cash Management Accountant State Role Title: Financial Services Manager I Hiring Range: Up to $65,000, Commensurate with education and experience Pay Band: 4: Agency: Virginia State University: Location: Virginia State University: Agency Website: vsu.edu: Recruitment Type: General Public - G Job Duties: "Greater Happens Here" Monitor federal grants, contracts and financial aid programs for expenditures requiring reimbursement, on a routine weekly basis. Calculate available reimbursement and submit draw-down request. Prepare quarterly and annual required financial reports relating to program expenditures and authorizations, within 15 days of due date. Work close with Grant Manager and Principal Investigators to ensure expenditures are in compliance with agreements and discrepancies are corrected in a timely manner. Daily as needed, process electronic funds payment request for Federal Grants, Contracts and Financial Aid program drawdowns, via internet or manual Invoices. Ensure wire transfer request is properly coded and submit original to General Accounting for posting into Banner.
