We are looking for a Health & Safety Leader – a skilled individual who thrives in getting involved with daily operations and focusing on the right things to support a safe work environment. What You Will Do: - Lead a visible on-the-floor safety presence . Get involved with our operations team and get an in-depth understanding on how our daily operations work. This is a 100% on-site position. - Lead and support our JHSC activities . Co-chair our monthly meetings, develop our committee members and support the completion of any open action items. - Lead safety programs. Administrate and execute key safety programs such as evacuation drills, environmental monitoring, and training certifications. - Support safe return to work. Oversee the incident reporting process, working with our leaders and other teams to eliminate hazards and safely return employees to work. - Educate our teams . Find effective ways to communicate health & safety awareness amongst our employee population. What We Need: - Minimum 5 years within a dedicated safety role in a manufacturing organization; experience within a leadership position is considered an asset. - Education related to Occupational Health and Safety...
