This Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will work alongside the HSHS Market Executive Medical Director and Market Director of Operations to lead and represent the APPs practicing in the Central Market. The HSHS Medical Group Central Market includes Springfield, Decatur, Mt. Zion, Chatham, Rochester, Sherman, Shelbyville, Mattoon, and Effingham. The ideal candidate is an experienced advanced practice provider both clinically and also has experience in clinical leadership, mentorship, and/or program development. This leader will hold direct responsibility and co-chair the HSHS Physician Enterprise APP Council. This leader will also have responsibility for quality and process improvement, mentorship of APPs in the Central Market to drive clinical excellence and professional growth, and APP recruitment.
