About New Horizons New Horizons is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our Youth Services team provides engaging and inclusive programming designed to foster social skills, independence, and community participation. Position Overview: New Horizons is seeking a motivated and energetic Summer Camp Counselor to support our Youth Services Summer Programming . This is a great opportunity for students interested in human services, education, social work, or related fields. The intern will assist in planning and facilitating activities, supporting participants, and ensuring a fun and inclusive experience for all. This will include supporting a summer Youth Leadership Program (1-week) as well as Camp CapAbility (4-weeks)- an inclusive summer camp for students with disabilities. Intern would need to be available from mid-June through August 1, 2025.
