AMI offers the 401K retirement benefit to Per Diem employees. Offered rates increase based on years of work experience. CMAs in the Vascular Institute provide hands-on, direct clinical care to patients. The Certified Medical Assistant is responsible for the following: Performs wound care and dressing changes as directed by the provider, meticulously documenting procedures and patient responses. Triages patients and conducts vital sign assessments, including ankle-brachial index (ABI) measurements, with prompt and precise documentation. Supports patients with dressing and ambulating when necessary, utilizing lift assist devices to ensure safe transfers. Assists patients to and from exam rooms, chairs, and related equipment.
