Department: Store Room: Shift/schedule: Full Time (40 hrs/wk): GENERAL SUMMARY: Works under the supervision of the Materials Manager. The Inventory Control Specialist's primary job function is to fill and distribute departmental orders and emergency orders, utilizing hand held computers to PAR level all supplies at hospital daily, and manages daily back order process through ORMED's back order audit system. Performs other duties as assigned. Education: Licensure: Experience: - High School Diploma or successful completion of an equivalent High School Exam Required - BMVL required (Must maintain eligibility to drive as determined by SOMC insurance carriers) - BLS/AED training course within 90 days of hire required - Warehouse inventory control experience preferred.
