Position Summary: This is professional work teaching recreational activities to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) . The Recreation Instructor plays a key role in supporting individuals’ physical, social, and emotional development through structured recreational programming and leisure activities. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain individuals’ gross motor, fine motor, and perceptual motor skills through structured classes and leisure activities - Conduct assessments to support individualized recreational and therapeutic goals - Plan, organize, and supervise therapeutic recreational programs - Use recreation as a tool to teach cooperation, sportsmanship, and fair play - Provide safe, engaging, and healthful recreational outlets for residents - Support overall quality of life and well-being through meaningful activity partici...
