Overview Kimley-Horn's is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Analyst with 2+ years of experience to join the Portland, Oregon (OR) office's MEP team! Responsibilities: - Utilize technical software programs on a regular basis to analyze and produce deliverables for our clients. - Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ requirements for the future built environment. - Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standards. - Perform general mechanical engineering tasks supporting various project tasks as required, such as dry-mechanical, wet-mechanical, plumbing/process systems. Tasks could include developing floor plans, flow diagrams, schedules, details and calculations such as pump head calculations, pipe sizing and distribution, and selection of equipment, etc. - Support our collaboration of multi-discipline Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing/process piping, Instrumentation & Controls, Telecom/Technology team specifically working on large scale Building Systems engineering designs. - Project type will vary but may include...
